In the past 20 years,
Tamaki Transformation has renovated over 1000 homes
in the Glen Innes area.
However, the trust's vision and goals for the future
are much larger than that.
Erecting a sign they themselves created.
It promotes developing the Auckland community
and they will be its first examples.
Thanks to Tamaki Transformations these three Maori
now have their own businesses and they are only 18 years old.
The programme is offered in the Glen Innes area,
a community that is 25% Maori.
Five government departments have provided funding
to Tamaki Transformation worth $52 million.
However, this programme works closely
with the local Maori community of Glen Innes.
Over the next three years, 120 homes will be renovated by this group.
However, the vision of these young ones is a lot simpler.
