It’s been an incredible journey in 2013 to have all these press conferences after
press conferences after press conferences; I can’t do that in Australia, I can’t
do it in America. But in Asia and Latin America, we chose these regions of the world because
we know that the favor of the Lord was upon us. Latin America, of course, is predominantly
Catholic, and so there is a deep reverence for God in that culture.
We have a tour throughout South America. 35 days. I think 8 or 9 countries. They say I
run so fast, I leave my legs behind. We wanted to reach 500,000,000 souls. And
it’s not exaggeration. So far, 350-400 million people have already heard the message of hope
so far in this year. And I’m so excited that in the next couple weeks, another at
least 100-150 million people will hear the message of hope.
Beth Efanador has such a passion for the youth and investing into next generation, and in
really establishing leaders, leaders of integrity that would be placed in influential positions
in that country. In the El Camino Christian Academy school, where it’s from kindergarden
to age 12. I want to tell you many people, they ask me,
Nick how come you smile so much? Is it a real smile? Yeah, it’s a real smile. Can you
see the strength that I have? And the peace that I have? Many people think that happiness
comes from money. It doesn’t. Money can’t heal anything, correct? But God can heal.
God can heal this nation. God can heal this school. God can heal these bullies. God can
heal you and me. If you ask Him to. We were able to go back to that school and
encourage them again and talk about bullying and it was a really really cool time that
we had with them. Thank You God, that Your love never changes.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Amen! I love you I love you I love you.
So it was such an incredible night, I am excited to be preaching and while I was on stage,
as much as I miss my family, I know they’re proud of me. I am missing my Spanish interpreter.
I carried the interpreter. I talked to Rafa before about bringing my exclusive translator
I take to Mexico, to bring him all to South America. And they said no. I think it’s
a mistake, because when you have a translator, you shouldn’t have to carry them. We should
be one. How can I forgive? Why? ‘Cause all evil
starts with pride. And then greed. And ***. I don’t know Spanish.
I had to do two things at once: making sure that he says the right things; I think I corrected
him like five, six times, and then that is funny, that’s funny to the audience. And
then, at a serious point, all of a sudden, they’re laughing, so we, you know. Like,
that’s frustrating. As an evangelist, again, the importance of the translator is crucial,
so. Is any country perfect? No. Will there always
be violence? I think so. But thank God it’s not a bad. I want you to know something. Keep
praying. God wants to heal Colombia. God wants to heal Colombia.
We also connected with Rafa’s friends who have started beautiful ministries and other
homes for kids. It’s called Casa la Roca. >>This school was founded about 18 years ago,
and it was a mission of our founding pastor, that ???(Joseph?) and his wife. They wanted
to found a school to form leaders of the country. Form leaders that had the Christian vision,
leaders that could go and impact and change the society, from what has been so far. There’s
one message that I think is going to resonate in the whole entire school, and that is God
loves you no matter what. The impact on seeing Nick being so sure of God’s love towards
him is definitely going to change their vision of who they are, and what God has done in
their life. And that God has a special plan for everyone in their lives.
Hola! It was just awesome to go see a special school
on fire for Jesus Christ. And I have to say I felt like I was at a Justin Beiber concert;
not that I’ve ever been, probably I never will go, but hearing those kids scream and
just out of excitement and joy to see me walk in, and just trying to impart wisdom and encouragement
on every level. You know what my parents told me? Do your
best, and God will do the best. Take one day at a time. And keep trying.
Definitely talked about the value of who we are in Christ, that we are royalty, we are
God’s children, when God is with us who can be against us, and the purpose in life,
and going out there in passion, and in integrity to go and be influential leaders of the future
of Colombia. Un abrazo, por favor. Hola. Mucho gusto. Oh
wow. Wow, gracias. >>Welcome to my humble house.
Muchicimas gracias. Meeting Jose today was such a beautiful, how
do you describe it, encounter? That was memorable, I’ll never forget it, the love that he has
for God, the compassion he has for people, the love that he has for his family. My breath
was just taken away. I’ve seen small houses on dirt before, but I’ve never met a family
in such a poor state of need, yet their own father hung himself in that house.
I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. The first thing anyone would do would be move
out of that house. They can’t. I can’t even imagine. Yet the love and the joy that
they have for God, and the desire they have to make a difference in this city is awesome.
So what do you hope to be, what’s your dream? >>To be a pastor, my first dream is to be
a pastor. That’s a good dream. Very good, very good.
You can put me on the bed. >>He says if you want, you can jump.
I make you a promise. The next time I come, I don’t know when, but I will come back
to Colombia, and with my wife, and my son, and we’ll come and visit you, OK?
I have been changed by seeing the light that comes in his eyes and his face as he’s showing
me the pictures of his sponsor and the letters, and showing me the family and the correspondence
and to see it on the other side has just really inspired me.
And I want you to know that you’ve encouraged me a lot, and I love you very very much. So
dream big, young man. Cause we have a big God. And he loves you so much. He loves your
family so much. He said, no, thank you for having, having
this opportunity, and I’m like, I’m the one blessed, you know. I’m the one whose
just witnessing miracles. No, no no no.
>>This is a medal that I got playing soccer. No.
I love you. Gracias. God is going to honor you. He knows your pain,
your sacrifice. You are a mighty young man in God already. Just be patient, OK? You’re
a champion. Thank you thank you thank you, I’m going to treasure this.
