You know, another neat thing to collect is scouting memorabilia. I don't mean like you're
scouting for memorabilia. But I mean like boy scout, girl scout memorabilia. And you
know, everybody loves this because it's part of our childhood and our memory. And we just
love stuff like this. So I happen to find out these old scouting magazines. They're
a perfect example of scouting Ephemera. This one, look at this. 1995 scan. How cool is
that? Look what it says in the cover. What makes boys tick? That's kind of odd, isn't
it? But anyways, look at this. Here is the 45th annual meeting of the National Boy Scout
Counsel. Now talk about history. Isn't it great to read about that stuff? Look at the
cover on these. Comic books, read comic books or history. And here's throat lozenges. Look
at this. Macure crump, when you cut your finger. They don't even make that stuff anymore. And
that's history in the making. Look at these covers. It's an old fashioned camp out. Circa
1954. Yeah, that was before they had all this fancy young butane lights and all that. Look
at this. Rebuilding Korea. Boy scouts doing good deeds. Look at that. Fall activities.
The trail chef tool kit. 10.95 for the whole, the whole tool kit. Look at it. Here's an
ensemble for a girls' scout. Now isn't that attractive? Can you imagine wearing that?
You know, these costumes alone aside from Ephemera. They are so valuable. if you find
the old vintage girl scout and girl scout leader costumes. Amazing stuff, amazing! Let's
take a look at a couple more of these. Earning money for your unit. I think, that's before
they had the girls scout cookies. Maybe, did the boys get to ever do cookies? I don't know.
But anyways, these are wonderful. Look at, those are all the patches. Those are collectible
too. But you know, the whole scouting thing. It's huge. I mean, there's patches, there's
booklets, there's everything. So scouting's big and scouting paper. Love it, love it.
