This video will demonstrate how to download and use Unusub templates with CorelDRAW
Go online to www.unisub.com
Click on 'Templates' and select a category
For this example we will use 'Coasters and Holders'
We will use coaster template 5703
Select the type of file you wish to download
Click .CDR and than click 'Save'
Select or create a folder to download a template file for easy retreaval
We have created a folder called 'Unisub Templates'
Click 'Save' and the file will download
1. Open a template
In CorelDRAW click File -> Open and locate the downloaded template
Note that the blue area of the template defines the exact size of the substrate
The green area defines the bleed area
Make sure that the outer area of the artwork matches the green area
2. Add your artwork
Click on File -> Import
Locate your artwork
Click on it to select then click 'Import'
Left-click and drag to set the size of the graphic
Make sure that the image is larger than the tempalte
Don't worry about the size of the substarate being different from the size of the artwork
3. Move your artwork behind the template for processing
Click Arrange -> Order -> To Back of Page
4. Re-shape the artwork to match the shape of the template
Click Effects -> Power Clip -> Place Inside Container
Move the large black arrow into the template area
Left-click and the image will re-shape and re-size to fit the template
5. Re-size to modify the image to match the outer green boundary of the template
Hold down the shift key and left-click on one corner of the anchor points
Drag the mouse to resize and release
6. Delete the template and template text so they don't print with the graphic
Click Tools -> Object Manager
Note that the new window opens
Choose the layer you are working on
If the layer is not showing click on '+' sign located next to layer 1
Right click 'Artistic Text'
Click 'Delete'
Right-click 'Ellipse' and 'Delete'
The template and template text are now removed
The image now fits the template
You are ready to print and press
If you plan to print more than one image on the same sheet of paper use 'Copy & Paste' function to place as many designes in the print area as possible
Right-click on the design and left-click on 'Copy'
Right-click and select 'Paste'
The pasted image will land on top of the existing image
Left-click on the image and drag it to separate from the one below
Repeat the process to maximise the print area
