For beautiful blond hair, one of the most important things to do at home is
make sure you have a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Blonde hair
tends to be lacking moisture and richness. I always recommend my clients
use a hair masque at least once a week in order to give extra boost of
moisture and one tip even further would be to apply the hair masque and
either go to your gym's steam room or maybe, turn on the shower, get the
water really, really steamy and have the hair masque in your hair in the
steam for 15, 20 minutes.
I think that it gives a more salon-type of treatment that you can even do
at home. I tend to like Fido. I like Pierre Michelle hair masque. These are
all great hair masques and, once again, blonde hair always needs to be
replenished the moisture. Another thing to make sure to do when you're
blonde is make sure you maintain those roots. If you're not going for the
hombre hair, blonde looks can be one of the most high maintenance looks.
Make sure you see your colorist often or create a plan when you create your
blonde on how often you need to come in. I think it's really important to
maintain a proper hair cutting regime. I think that haircuts every four to
six weeks are a great way to make sure that the ends aren't dry and the
style always looks well maintained. In order to look like you have great
highlights, they need to look great on the ends also. Too many girls leave
their hair, just to be long, dry and blonde on the ends.
Don't worry, a little quarter inch actually makes the hair look thicker and
more vibrant.
