Hey everybody, I'm Jake the Geek Out Tech
bringing you cool technology with my tutorials, unboxings,
product reviews and other geekery.
Today, I'm showing you the GeekDesk v3.
The first two of three boxes I'll show you have
all the parts for the large black frame.
The frame also comes in a smaller size and silver in color.
The first box here contains the manual, powercord,
two cables that control each leg
the handset for moving the desk up and down
two legs that contain the motors for moving the desk up and down.
These legs feel very sturdy which is
great because they're definitely the muscle of this desk.
And the last item here is the control box.
This contains the brains of the desk which I'm sure
helps keep the desk level at all times amongst other things.
So here are all the parts from Box 1.
Now on to the second box.
This box contains all the parts for connecting the legs
together and attaching the frame to the table top.
The first part here is for mounting the control box to the frame.
We have a bag of screws and washers that are labeled very well.
Here's one of the desk's feet.
The feet do have adjustable parts so you can make sure the desk is level
and doesn't shift if your floor isn't quite level.
This is one of the arms that help attach the frame to the desk top.
You'll notice that all the parts in this box are contained
in a bubble wrap which protects them really well.
And here we have a brace that connects the two legs together
to keep this desk sturdy.
Those holes come in handy and I discuss how I use them in my review video
which I link to down in the description and at the end of this video.
And finally the control rack for mounting the control box.
housing the cables and attaching the frame to the top.
Here's all the parts for Box 2.
The final box is the top.
This top is Beech Veneer and it also comes in black.
The top comes in a variety of sizes and this one
is 63 inches wide and 31.5 inches deep.
The top has three holes with caps for cable managment.
So there you go. That's the GeekDesk v3.
