Suffer little children to come unto me.
This cemetery is the English graveyard,
because here lie the English miners that came to work in the mines in 1824.
All of the tombs are facing England, but there is particularly one, belonging to Richard Bell,
that isn't.
He is facing the north, because he is saying thanks to Mexico
for all the love, something that back in his country he did't receive;
because back there, the English people despised and humiliated him,
because he belong to a circus of poor clowns.
This was his last joke.
Does Richard Bell appears around here?
No, I haven't had chance to see him.
I've seen other spirits, other souls from this cemetery,
like the little girl; she dies, and they burry her in this graveyard.
A few days after being buried, her parents decide to go back
to England.
They come back here, they dig her up, take the coffin out, open it
and when they open the little girl's coffin
something surprised them.
They discovered that she was buried alive.
Mi dad was Don Chencho, who was the guard of this cemetery for 47 years.
His was named by the Queen Elizabeth the II from England
member of the order of the British Empire, for his work at the cemetery,
that was disinterested.
He is the first Mexican Hidalguense to receive this honour from the Queen.
That's why he is the eternal sentinel that is going to take care of this cemetery for all eternity.
I'm María del Carmen Hernandez Skewes.
