This holiday season we're celebrating service and social responsibility.
We're going to secure 100,000 hours of community service
from members of the American University community.
I'm donating 100 hours to KIPP DC.
Twenty-four hours at the Family Court Self-Help Center
Living a life of service is important to me and my family personally,
but also to set an example for our student athletes.
We pledged!
Those of us in student government continue to make AU our home away from home
by reaching out to our DC community.
I'm Jeff Franco, the executive director of City Year Washington, D.C., and a proud alum.
It was the inspiration I got while being here
watching so many students volunteer that led me to found A Wider Circle.
Providing service to others
it's one of the most important ways to really make a difference in our community.
The snowflakes that you see decorating the quadrangle
and this tree that you see next to me
are testimony to the service commitment we've made
to our city and our region for the coming year.
On behalf of the more than 115,000 alumni worldwide,
we wish you a very happy holiday season.
Have a sustainable holiday.
We'd like to wish all troops a happy holiday season and a safe trip home.
Happy holidays from Public Safety, and be safe.
Happy Hanukkah.
Happy holidays.
Happy holidays from Chi Omega.
On behalf of the entire American University community,
I want to wish you a happy and safe holiday season.
Happy holidays!
