What do your customers really think of you, In a nutshell
Do you know WHAT your customers REALLY think of you, and understand what you are offering.
When your customers and potential customers see, or hear your company name, what would
you like them to think? Are you offering products and services, that
provide a solution to their need? Are you promoting the right message?
Have you grabbed their attention, and generated enough interest to make them react? Ideally,
to buy? And if they do buy, what will be their experience?
Some might have considered these vital questions on set up, but so often after time, forget
to keep asking them, and their customers. Many businesses create products and services
that are not relevant to their customers. They get carried away, with what they think
to be great ideas, create what they think are great products, and what they think are
great looking promotional campaigns, sometimes at a high cost, but are disappointed when
the sales don?'t come in? Why? Because they forgot to ask the customer.
The customer is king, and holds the success of your business in their hands, and more
importantly in their pocket. So ask them first, after all it?s just good
manners. Use simple research tools to do this. There
are many free, or low cost online tools available to run polls, or questionnaires that give
you instant feedback. Try getting a small group of customers together
in a room, to test product ideas and messages. You'?ll be amazed, at how differently people
perceive things. Even a few phone calls to some key customers,
can give you a great steer. And when you do business with them, make sure
you ask them what the experience was like. Your customers hold all the answers to the
success of your business, so ask them!
