Hey! Since I've been at Frontrunners, I've been taught a variety of topics... What are they?
We started with the usual meet and greet with the other fellow Frontrunners. There are 9 of us from 7 countries.
Soon I will introduce them all to you. As usual, we had ice-breakers, getting to know each other. Finding out
what countries they're from, their likes and dislikes. We've had a topic called 'Spotlight' which focused on presenting
and how we are to represent ourselves when we present.
We also had another topic called 'Change the World'. We all want to change the world but we need to follow through
an idea to figure out what strategic steps we need to take in order to reach our goals.
We've had all range of topics but one of the interesting thing about this place, is that there is a different group of
students here. They're called the 'Navigator' group. We don't have groups of students like them in Australia but
they are students who have finished school but unsure what path to take in terms of careers, they come here to
to obtain more skills and work with companies which is similar to an apprenticeship. They also live here during the
week and go home for the weekends. We joined forces and went hiking for 22km which took us 8 hours in total.
When we finished our hike, that wasn't all. We had to make our own bonfire and cook our food. Sleep in the cold,
I don't think any of us had a good sleep that night. When we returned we had heaps more topics to study,
for example, we were taught about 'Conflicts and Resolutions'. If problems were to arise, we were to figure
out what would be the best strategy to solve it. The most important topic we've been taught so far is
'Website Building'. The reason for that is that we have to form our own website for Frontrunners. You've been
watching my website but ours will be released hopefully within the next few days, cross fingers!
It would be great if you could also have a look at our Frontrunners website, I will share you the link later.
Uh-oh, hang on! You want to see more of this place? You'll have to wait till the next video for the grand tour! Bye!
