So first things first u obviously wanna wash ur hands then turn ur heat on medium-high and pop ur potatoes into the sauce pan
After about 30-45 minutes check to see if ur potatoes are soft by poking a fork into them
Rinse ur potatoes with cold water so it can be easier for u to peel the skin off
Strain them and rinse again with cold water
Now take a plate and put the potatoes peels on it and leave the rest of the potatoe itself in the sauce pan
Ewwwwww!
So what u need for the filling of the springrolls is...I'm going to be including utensils too
A potatoe masher
A spoon
Peas
Chili powder
Caribbean spice
Turmnic
Lemon pepper
Garlic powder
Pepper flakes
Black pepper
Salt
A strainer
The spring roll pastry (obviously) I'm using the one from "Spring Home", and finally u need ur potatoes
Then u mash up ur potatoes
Now take ur peas and strain them to another bowl
and shake the stainer so the access water can strain too >_< IDK IF THAT MADE SENSE
Now put the peas into the bowl
and stir (Oops didn't see the potato on the counter)
Now add about one tablespoon of all the spices
I like mine spicy so I added alot of chili powder
Add a little Caribbean spice because it has alot of garlic and we r going to use regular garlic powder too so be sure to put a little
Give that a good stir
Now open ur spring roll pastry sheets
Take on sheet and face one of the corners to u so it looks like a diamond shape and the roll twice/till u get to the middle then fold the edges,add some water to wrap it all up and ur done making ur spring roll shape
This is how they look when they're fried.Some of them were too big some of them were too small,but the impotant thing is THE FILLING the inside of the spring roll NOT the outside,and it matters if u liked them.I loved mine!!!! Thanx for watching good luck byeeeeeeeeeeeee!
