Uploading product images to your store can be done in a couple of different ways.
First of all, let's take a look at uploading images via the Manage > Images section.
To upload a new image, just click on the "Add Images" button at the top-left of the page.
If you are uploading an image directly from your computer, click the "Select" button and
then locate the file on your computer.
The image will then automatically upload. Once the process has completed, click the
"Confirm Upload" button.
Please note that if the "Overwrite file if exists" box is checked and you have previously
uploaded an image using the same filename, it will be overwritten automatically.
This means that any products that used the overwritten image will be updated, and will
begin to show the new image right away.
If you would prefer to use an image directly from the internet, rather than uploading it
from your own computer, please use the second option: "Image from Web".
Just enter the full URL of the image and click the "Get Image" button.
If the box below this is checked, the image will be copied and added to your Manage > Images
section.
This ensures that, even if the original image is altered or removed, it will not affect
your store.
At the top of the Manage > Images section are a few additional tools, allowing you to
change the order in which the images are displayed, as well as set how many are shown per page.
You can also use these tools to jump to a specific page of images.
Finally, the "View Icons" at the top-right of the page let you switch between viewing
your images as a Grid or a List.
You can also upload images to your store while editing or adding a product in the Manage
> Products section.
To do this, just expand the "Images" panel and click the "Upload Image" button.
The process of uploading images is exactly the same as when using the Manage > Images
section.
Once you have uploaded some images, you can use also use this panel to assign them to
a product, either as a "Main Image" or an "Additional Image".
"Additional Images" are only shown while viewing the detailed product page on your store.
If you would like to upload many images at once, you can use the Import/Export > Import
Images section to import a Zip file containing several images.
For more information on how to do this, please see the "Importing an Image Zip" help video.
