We specialize in portraiture, food, products and interiors. When I was around 15, I took
my first photography class. I've been doing it ever since. For film you think about things
very much in the pre-production. In digital you can think about a lot more things in the
post production. We used to print out the photos that were going to the client, and
then circle all the little bits that we want be changed, and now we can just do that right
on the iPad, using the Jot, because the Jot is so precise it helps to really circle the
little bits of each other we need to change.
So, the Jot says all the time, I can just do it on my iPad, an email ever then he proposed
to fax machine, scanner to get the image to him with the circles.
On a day to day, I'm doing lots of research all in different styles for menswear. Researching
fabrics, researching trends, the latest trends that we see. Everything is digital now, so
I don't carry pen and pad with me and I don't do my sketches on a a piece of paper. So when
I'm out and about I have my tablet with me, and this allows me to do the exact same thing
I would have done years ago, just digitally.
Styles and trends are constantly changing. So, I always have to be aware and on point
with everything that's going on. The Jot is great because it allows me to capture my ideas
and inspirations instantly wherever I am. It allows me to reduce the amount of steps
that I have to take in order to get my ideas from my mind to the computer.
