How to Back-up Tickets
Important Tip! Only unused tickets purchased by a registered user can be backed up. Register
an account before you make a purchase to easily back-up your tickets.
1. First, be sure you keep the app installed on your original device.
2. Second, sign in to TriMet.TransitSherpa.com and navigate to My Account and then to My
Tickets and click the "Recall my Unused Tickets" button.
(This action will take tickets from your phone and send them to the transitsherpa website.
On the My Tickets page on TriMet.TransitSherpa.com, you can see whether or not tickets have downloaded
to your device)
3. Third, go back to the app on your original device and in the My Tickets tab, pull to
refresh the list of tickets to complete the ticket recall action and send your tickets
from the phone to the website.
(At this point, reload TriMet.TransitSherpa.com and tickets marked as downloaded should now
be marked as not downloaded. Pulling to refresh again will not re-download the tickets to
your original device because it is now locked. The website will not send tickets to the phone
unless the 'Unlock My Devices' button is clicked on TriMet.TransitSherpa.com)
4. Fourth, when you are ready to restore your tickets, sign in to your account in the app.
Go to the My Tickets tab and pull to refresh to retrieve your tickets. Note: If you have
a new device, install the TriMet Tickets app and sign into your account.
(At this point, reload TriMet.TransitSherpa.com and tickets marked as not downloaded should
now be marked as downloaded. On your original device, you can sign out of the TriMet Tickets
app.)
Remember! You cannot recall tickets which are active or tickets purchased without an
account."
