The narration you just heard was taken from the preview for The Naked Gun 2 1/2
The video effects seen throughout were created with an Amiga Computer called the Video Toaster.
The 'Without a pass" line was Steve's idea.
This sequence was inspired by the Larry Bird and Michael Jordan commercial.
The choice of music can be credited to Steve.
No creative editing was used in this segment.
It was fun and easy to edit together this segment.
What wasn't easy was figuring out a way to end the segment.
So we settled on "It's a tie" and moved on.
It is easy to make slide shows now-a-days.
But back then we put photos on a stand and videotaped them.
If you watch closely you can see the stand shaking, causing the photo to move.
This photo wins the cutest award. I'm not afraid to say it was because of Jeremy's smile.
I won't deny that the timing here was meant to be sad.
After class night, Sandra (right) took me aside to tell me the video yearbook sucked.
To be fair, everyone wasn't represented equally in these videos.
I was definitely concerned that people wouldn't get this scene.
We didn't spend a lot of time on this video.
Most of the footage was stolen from preview video yearbooks.
Not everyone knows that Dr. Vierra saw Kim naked during the High School Spain trip.
The timing of this edit was lame but on purpose. Miss Bermin was a psychology teacher and talked about a lot about 'defense-mechanisms'
I always thought he looked like Grandpa Munster.
Some Video Toaster magic right there.
