Can you tell us in a few words
what Kido'z is?
Kido'z is a safe environment for children
which gives them tools
that we created just for them,
to enjoy the strength of the Internet
like adults, but without the need
to read and write.
First of all, all the content on it
has been checked by our team.
There is nothing in the public area
that can harm children.
Secondly, when a child enters
a website, all the downloads
and popups, all the links
leading to sites which are not
on the list of safe sites,
are blocked. So the child
always stays within a safe environment.
The parents are the ones
who add the content.
For my daughter I add
a video of penguins,
you add videos of dolphins
for your daughter.
And that's how the content is
created within Kido'z.
We just look and make sure that
there's nothing bad in the content.
You check that what
the parents added isn't...
No sex, no drugs, no rock 'n roll,
that's our overall guideline.
Beside that, our system knows
to suit content to children.
So three-year-olds don't see
content that's appropriate to age seven.
It's more than a browser,
there are tools,
that aren't here actually,
for communication between children,
a kind of Outlook for children,
we'll have a kind of Facebook,
a social network for children.
If someone wants to start
enjoying Kido'z now,
what does he have to do?
All that a parent has to do if they
want their child to have Kido'z is
to go to kidoz.net, and click Install.
What is the business model here?
There isn't one.
You don't really need one.
No really.
The business model is one
that's already been proven
to work in industry, in many places.
The Freemium model,
from the word free plus premium.
The model works, the only question is
will it work here with us.
You have to work out what will bring
the most customers,
and then what will cause
those customers to want
to pay some extra fee.
Didn't you already crack that
with Hop?
You were part of a very
successful brand name.
No, no the Hop site was a premium site,
which means if you wanted to enter,
you had to pay. There was no free.
Despite the fact that there was
a free Hop. So if you look
at the two sites together that
is the Freemium model.
First you have to attract
the million customers
and then you have to make offers
they can't resist.
Isn't it smarter to bring in
the million customers by connecting
to a group with ten million users?
That's irrelevant,
you're talking about distribution,
that's not part of the business model.
Obviously when it comes to distribution
I'd be very happy it they wanted
to work with me. I wouldn't say no.
We see that you're here on a Eee.
I wanted to ask if that is
just a coincidence or not.
It's half a coincidence
No comment.
Thank you very much and good luck.
