Welcome to the tutorial for Psychiatry Online. In this instruction we will go over the basics in searching through this database. If you have
further questions, please feel free to contact a librarian during library hours. For starters, let’s choose a relevant search term—how about
bipolar. Notice on the right of the search box that you have the option to search all journals, all books, or specific items that may benefit
your research. For now we’ll stick with all journals. In our results we are provided with two tabs, a journal tab and a book tab. Feel free to
navigate both. You can narrow your search by publication, topic, or date on the left hand side. Notice under each article topics are suggested
for you to help broaden your research. Let’s go ahead and click on the first article. From here you have many options. On the right hand side
you can print, cite, email, share, or read the article as a pdf. There are also recommended books and articles listed for you down the right
hand side. Links at the top of every section allow for easy searching as well. To return to your previous list, simply click on the back
arrow, and you can continue finding relevant books and articles.
