Hi, it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today we’re going to show you how to change the burner
on your gas range. It’s a really easy job; no tools required. Let me show you how we
do it.
Now before we begin this repair the first thing that we’ll want to do is make sure
that the burner is turned to the off position, that the grate is cool to the touch because
we’re simply going to lift that grate off and set it aside.
We’ll lift the burner cap off and set that aside.
Then simply lift the burner away from the main top.
You’ll note that the bottom of the burner has a locating tab that will fit into the
v-notch on that opening and that the igniter will fit into that cut out. Simply set it
in place.
When reinstalling the cap you’ll note that there’s a longer pin that will fit into
the v-shaped notch.
Replace the grate, and our repair is complete.
