Howdy folks how is it going welcome to my *** kitchen todays video is in my mind
a stonker but in the words of Donni Henriksen said on Facebook it is the breaking bad of
hot chocolate beverages. It is a salted caramel hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows and
guys it is so so good I do not really want to tell you how to do it as I am just so emotional
right now but of course I am going to it is a perfect winter warmer � it is winter right
now and I am wearing a tshirt I have chicken skin, but this is all you need hit pause and
write all the ingredients down. You are going to absolutely love this, super, super naughty.
We will start off by making our own homemade salted caramel now if you are short of time
you can get some from the supermarket or your supplier of choice maybe you have a dedicated
caramel supplier which would be an amazing job right. Get a frying pan on a low flame
add the sugar and water together keep stirring together until it dissolves then over time
it will start to bubble the bubbles look pretty cool but about ten minutes in they will start
to change and go a sort of amber orange colour once at that stage add in your butter ok so
stick that in there be careful it will get dangerous get it all nice and dissolved in
there very carefully take this off the heat quickly too and pour in the cream it is so
important to do this quickly because it can solidify then you can sprinkle in your salt
add as much as you like and that is your homemade salted caramel done.
Yep so as I say that is optional if you have bought the caramel jump straight to this step
so grab a saucepan and add your milk, chocolate chips and the salted caramel over a low flame
and of course you can tweak those ingredients to your liking too once you get used to making
this you can really make it your own so over that low flame keep stirring it together let
it all melt and combine and it will be really thick and gorgeous and smokingly hot.
So while the hot chocolate mixture was warming up I did two things, I had some bashed biscuits
and on the cup I was using I dabbed a marshmallow with the sticky end and sprinkled on the crumbs
to create a cool rim around the glass. Also I toasted up some marshmallows, I am
not going to show you that but if you click here you will see the toasted marshmallow
shots recipe I did recently how you can do it on a hob and various other ways with our
hot chocolate all done though it was time to pour it into the cup and present it oh
my goodness. So pour your hot chocolate into the glass
nearly all the way to the top add in the toasted marshmallows very carefully or you can just
dunk them in there, add on the caramel, a sprinkle of salt, and finish with some grated
chocolate I hope you will agree that is looking like the breaking bad of hot chocolates because
I definitely agree with that statement. Oh my goodness guys that really is unbelievably
good as you know I am not a massive tea or coffee lover and I feel this is right up there
to compete with that. Tweak the ingredients to your liking, I really
