Hi everybody! My name is Igor Oleynik
and today I'm going to tell you
about the conception of football freestyle
and three basic tricks
atw, htw and crossover.
In "lower" style all tricks
are based on combinations of three basic tricks
atw, htw and crossover.
As an example, let's take the "tatw"
which is considered to be at a higher level than basic tricks.
Firstly, "tatw" stands for "Touzani atw"
as it is Touzani, a Dutch freestyler
who did it first in the world.
It consists of two basic tricks
atw and crossover.
If we combine them, we get "tatw".
Other tricks have the same way of combining
every trick in football freestyle
is named after the freestyler, who performs it first.
For instance, "satw" - "Skora atw"
"latw" - "Lemmens atw" and etc.
Also we can add an "A" letter to a trick
which stands for "alternate".
F.e, "alatw"
This means that the trick starts with another foot.
I'll tell you more details a bit later.
Let's take the basic
and the most popular trick - "atw".
It stands for "around the world".
Nobody knows who thought up this trick
and performed it first.
There are very old clips
of a German circus actor
in which he performs incredible tricks at that time.
And nowadays not every freestyler can do them.
To do atw
you have to spin the ball sligthly, do a circular movement
and kick it up.
There are two kinds of atw
"in" and "out".
Choose one
which you like the most
and start to train it.
You should understand the main point here
you don't touch the ball and then spin it
but vice-versa.
Move your foot sideways
and touch it at the same time.
Keep the ball lower than knees.
Then you won't have any difficulties.
You can learn this trick in a short time.
After you've done 1 atw
try to do 2 and more.
You should know one rule
(which applies not only to atw
but to all multiple tricks)
you should do not less then two-thirds
of your record.
For example, your record is 10 atws.
You should do 6-7 atws at every training.
Stick to this rule and your records
will increase.
The next trick is the "crossover".
You can learn it, as "atw", very quickly.
For some people it is even easier than "atw".
You have to kick up the ball to the waist height,
wait till it starts to fall
then bring the other foot over the ball
and kick it up.
The point is how to jump properly.
I advise you to train a jump
without the ball.
Then try this trick by throwing the ball with the hands.
And after all do this while juggling
The last basic trick is the "htw".
It stands for "hop the world".
You have to touch the ball with one foot
and bring the other over the ball.
Kick the ball up not higher than knees.
You should learn this trick
with both feet
as you're going to do multiple htw.
Though "htw" is a basic trick
it will be the basis
for many hard tricks.
Your aim is to reach at least 30.
When you've done this
you'll be able to perform long combos
and some hard tricks.
Start your trainings
with these three major tricks.
They will let you go further.
