Well, thank you very much, Nina.
before we close,
do you have any other advice
you would like to give to the students about how to make a speech
I may be repeating myself, but I think the students should choose a topic
that is very interesting
Because theyĆll be doing research on it,
and they should not present it in such a way as to make it incomprehensible to the audience.
Either too much specialist information, or simply something that is too general.
It has to be something from their heart that's interesting.
And they can also use ways in which to convey that information, by using
pauses,
by stressing words,
uh... by stretching out words,
and by using gestures
But I would warn students not to use too many gestures and not to use them in a mechanical
way
I think they should be an integral part of the speech.
that's about it, I should think.
Thank you very much, Nina.
Make good speeches.
