Hi my name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to take a
few minutes to show you how to make blueberry muffins that taste better than the ones out
of the box you get at the at the grocery store. Now while our dough relaxes, or our batter
I should say it's not dough. We're going to go ahead and take and mix our sugar and our
flower together here. The flower got stuck in the bottom. I'm going to kind of stir this
together and I always use a fork cause a fork because a fork's kind of like using a miniature
whisk. Get all that out of the way. Oops, got a little protein strand there basically.
Alright so now we're going to take that butter we've got form earlier which it's been sitting
at room temperature so it'll be a little softer which is good it's what we want. So I'll just
drop that right there and we're just going to smash our butter up with our fork another
reason using a fork here is extra, extra handy. Now you could do this in the mixer if you
really wanted to but it's probably more of a hassle than anything just because you?re
not making a great deal of anything here and getting the mixer all dirty for this and it
would just be kind of a waste. So make sure your butter mixes up nicely and evenly. Now
at this point once you see the butter start to take on the consistency you'd like it to
you can think about other seasonings for this. Some people will leave it just like this and
make a regular crumble some people would, excuse me, some people would put a little
cinnamon in there which is what I'm going to do some people put brown sugar in. And
it looks like I'm going to need a little more butter in this so we'll come right back. So
here we are this is our final crumb mixture I'm probably going to add just a little more
flour to this just to make it a little more crumbly it came out almost like cookie dough
here. It's crumbly but it's just not crumbly enough so a little more flour to this and
we'll be ready to go. Let's go back add our blueberry's to muffin mix over here and throw
them in the oven.
