If you haven't started on your Lunar New Year celebrations yet... time now to factor in
the weather for your four-day holiday plans.
Let's go over to our Kim Bo-gyung to find out what the weather will be like this holiday
weekend. Bo-gyung
Good evening, Sean and Ji-hae. Some parts of Jeollanam-do Province and Jeju are seeing
light showers at this hour.
Nationwide sprinkles are forecast from tomorrow morning through the afternoon. So those of
you who are going to be on the roads should keep in mind that the rain may exacerbate
traffic conditions. Things will clear up on Lunar New Year Day, but another round of showers
awaits us over the weekend.
Taking a look at the current conditions. The nation is under the influence of a low pressure
trough from the West Sea, which is why we're seeing heavy clouds.
Tomorrow's sprinkles will begin in the central regions and gradually spread throughout the
nation. Keep in mind that there is a possibility that fine dust may briefly move in tomorrow
afternoon.
Moving on to tomorrow's readings. Seoul starts off day at 4 degrees, with a high of 7. Meanwhile
Gwangju and Busan hit 10 and 14 degrees, respectively.
As for other regions. Jeju and Dokdo peak in the low teens, while Mt. Kumgang makes
it to 2 degrees.
Happy Lunar New Year to you all, and hope you have a wonderful holiday
