Hi, I'm Tamal Bhattacharya speaking on behalf of Expert Village. The word mural is derived
from the Latin word muralis, the French murus, meaning of the wall. A mural is not just any
painting, but imposes a three dimensional quality to a wall. Here is an example of a
typical mural using three dimensional objects. I am using bowls, lids, egg pots, terracotta
tiles with designs and metal faces. I lay the objects out on the floor in the pattern
I want to put on the wall. Objects can be rearranged into different designs until I
find the one you like. Always be creative when designing your mural. Keep in mind the
environment and architecture of the space in relation to your mural. Thank you.
