Hey! Welcome to today's episode
My name is marioKarrion from BanditoGaming and this is the Weapon Analysis of MX4 Personal
Defense Weapon
The Italian-manufactured MX4 or in reality known as the Beretta Mx4 Storm is a personal
defense weapon in Battlefield 4.
It's the first PWD... available only to Engineer kit... and it is unlocked by default.
The MX4 supports two different fire modes: automatic and single shot,
and it has a magazine capacity of 30 rounds with one in the chamber.
This weapon, just like all the other Personal Defense Weapons in the game, it's meant to
be used in the close range.
Now comparing this to the other PDWs Its damage in short and long range is just
average however.. it has the second fastest fire rate
in this weapon's category but the third slowest muzzle velocity
and its ammo capacity is the second lowest. even reloading takes some time,
as a matter of fact this is the third slowest PDW to reload when there are no more bullets
in the magazine and... the second slowest one when you still
have bullets left...
Even with all those bad statistics the number of bullets required to take an
enemy down are practically the same just as all the other
PDWs.
Finally regarding its bullet spread, there are three things to notice
first, the MX4 has the worst left horizontal recoil
also, it has the third worse vertical recoil and the last thing... the best right horizontal
recoil.
The attachments available help you change that bullet spread a little bit,
but in the end those attributes are kept no matter what attachment is selected.
To be honest with you, having PDWs available only to the Engineer kit is really weird to
me, I can see them being used when defending on
rush... or playing some domination, but in the end, it doesn't make too much sense
anyways...
The MX4 is not the worst PDW in the game, but it gives you an idea of what to expect
in the future.
If you have any plan to unlock all other PDWs, you need to learn to use this weapon,
first of all and for the record, I don't recommend you at all to use this weapon
when playing on medium to large maps... unless you're defending on Rush or playing
some team deathmatch or domination...
This weapon is obviously better in the close range due to the high firerate,
yes bullet speed and reloading time is bad but you have to work with what you have...
so... attach a laser sight and you won't even have to bother aiming down the sights.
I don't see myself using this weapon again in a while,
but still I think this PDW is great to get used to the new PDWs in the game.
