Queen Elizabeth II poses with great-grandchildren and grandchildren for 90th birthday
QUEEN Elizabeth II has been photographed with her 5 great-grandchildren and 2 youngest grandchildren for her 90th birthday.
Captured by Annie Leibovitz, the touching image shows Princess Charlotte resting on her great-grandmother's knee, while Prince George, 2, looks adorable stood next to her.
Zara Phillips' daughter Mia Tindall is also in the snap.
Mike Tindall's little girl is standing proudly holding her great-grandma's handbag.
Peter Phillips's daughters Savannah, 5, and 3-year-old Isla also feature in the touching image.
Alongside them is the Earl and Countess of Wessex's children, James, Viscount Severn, 8, who has his hands in his pockets, and Lady Louise Windsor.
Lady Louise – who was 1 of Kate Middleton and Prince Charles' bridesmaids – is now 12 and towers above her younger relatives.
The photograph was taken in the Green Drawing Room, part of the Windsor Castle's semi-State apartments just after Easter.
It's 1 of 3 images released to celebrate the Queen's birthday.
In another, taken in the White Drawing Room at Windsor, Her Majesty is pictured sitting on the sofa with her only daughter Princess Anne.
The third picture captures the Queen walking in the private grounds of Windsor Castle with her 2 corgis Willow and Holly and 2 dorgis Candy and Vulcan.
Happy Birthday Queenie!
