* TECHNICAL ISSUES! *
Hello everyone! I'm Fefe or Tron544, as you may know me already from Youtube,
I send you my regards! And this is another video for the new section I'm trying to
introduce, where I answer the questions you send me in!
From all the questions you sent me via Facebook or Youtube, I chose some of them because,
if not, this video would be endless. So I apologize to all the people whose questions
I didn't answer. Without futher ado, let's get started!
The first question was sent by Junders Plunkett, who says:
"From which part of Argentina are you from? (Province/City) PS: You sound like an announcer
Do you really think I sound like an announcer? I don't think so, my voice is horrible!
Answering your question, I'm from Buenos Aires' Federal Capital
The following question was sent by Jocelyn Astete, and she says:
"How old were you when you first started playing the electric guitar?"
This is quite a curious question, as most people start playing the guitar using a classical
or acoustic guitar. However, I started playing the electric guitar from the beginning
The following question is "combined", let's say...
The first message was sent by Daniel Romero, and he says:
"What made you have that interest in music?"
At the same time, Supere Nova says:
"Hello Fefe! You are so cool!" Thanks!
"I've got a question, who inspired you to play the guitar? Greeting from Chaco"
I send you my regards from Buenos Aires! My summarized "story" is something like this...
I've got a sister, who is a musician,
and she had been telling me to learn how to play an instrument
I wanted to play the drums, but as I live in a small apartment,
this is really complicated and my parents said "NO!" from the very beginning
By that time, I started playing Guitar Hero as I'd already bought the guitar controller
to play the way it should be played, but I always sucked at it...
So one day when I was in my house, I thought:
"I Want to play like the characters in Guitar Hero play! I want to play that well!"
So I called my sister and asked her if she could teach me, even though
she is not a guitar teacher, she is a singing teacher
She is an excellent teacher, unlike me
After a year of lessons with my sister, she recommended me to a teacher,
from whom I learnt for like another year
Due to different reasons, I stopped attending guitar lessons
Now, I'm focusing 100% on practising. The rest is history!
The following question was sent by Jesus Solorzano Alcivar, and he says:
"What string gauge do you use? .009 or .010?"
I've always used .009 strings as I find them softer to play
Poncho' Harrison says:
"I've recently started watching K-ON and I love it!" Me too!
"This anime caught my attention because Yui showed a lot of interest and effort in learning
how to play the guitar. Do you think that anyone can achieve that if they want to?
Greetings from Mexico!" I send you my regards from Argentina!
He/she goes on to say: "I love you Fefe" Well, I don't love you, unless you are a girl...
That also caught my attention, but according to what I've read, Yui is a prodigy
so she learns faster and she will eventually be better than any of us
If you watch certain scenes from the anime, you can tell that Yui has no knowledge
on Music Theory, which means that this a natural ability she has
And sure! Anyone can do anything if they want to!
This question, which was sent by 11sebas11, it's also related to K-ON! He says:
"So... Thanks to whom or what do you know K-ON!? And which of the girls is your favourite?"
I know K-ON thanks to a medley someone made, in which Cagayake! GIRLS was included
As it blew my mind, the first thing I did was to look up the anime which the song was from
I watched the anime and I loved it! As regards my favourite character,
I would have to say that Yui is the one because I relate to her on many aspects,
especially on the first couple of episodes when she buys a guitar and so on...
However, Ritsu is a drummer and she is really cool... So, I would say this is a draw!
Dinogago says:
"Do you learn the songs by ear or do you use tabs? Greetings from Andorra!"
I send you my regards from Argentina! I always learn the main melody or vocals by ear
But if you are refering to the Rhythm section, if I'm not really sure,
I look up tabs or covers other people made for that specific song
Like in the previous video, I received a question
from someone that I don't know why he/she asked that!
This was sent by Iphamouss, and it says: "Do you love me?"
Definitely, no... Unless you are a girl!
Well, these are all the questions, but I would like to send
some shout-outs to the people that had asked me to!
These shout-outs go to Joaco Pena Blair, a friend of mine to whom
I promised to send my regards on the previous video, but I totally forgot!
The next one goes to another friend of mine called Keilong Hip,
who doesn't want to lend me his brand-new Telecaster
And the last one of my friends I want to give a shout-out to is Diego Jeldes Aguilera,
who is the bassist in K-ON-Line! He advised me on the new equipment I've bought recently
So, thank you very much for everything!
Finally, the following shout-outs go to Joaquin Wall Mutis, Alan Nicolas Videla Nuñez,
Henry Haro, Gabriel Saavedra, Sam Live, Gustavo Durand and Alejandro Jimenez Gomez!
If you want me to answer your question in the next video,
please leave it in the comment section below!
