Now what we are going to do is we are going to take our basic strikes that we learned
in our first section and apply them now into different ways to throw them into different
combinations. If you have any questions about the initial strikes, those basic sevens and
some of the add ons just go back to the first one and check those out and then come back
and check these ones. Now what we are going to do is we are going to start from a punch
like we already threw it and the first combination is going to be up, down, side, side, side,
side. How that is going to work is we are here, we're at our punch, we're going to go
up, down, side, side just like in our basic seven but now we're going to throw the next
set of side, side the other way. These work best when you throw them on 45's as well so
I'm going to throw them here at 45, up, down, side, side and then to this 45, side, side.
Our switch comes on the second strike to the left here. So here, up, down, side, side,
side, side. Notice we had all those hip warm ups for a reason because we are going to be
twisting and torquing a lot during these combinations. So here up, down, side, side, side, side.
Making sure that everything is nice and level because now you are dealing with strikes that
go completely parallel to the ground. You have the up, down but after that it is all
flat so to make sure they are all thrown in the same place, nice and flat all the way
across. Your shoulders are down nice and relaxed, one more time, up, down, side, side, side
side. This is our first combination.
