Calling all Texans!
We need all hands online to help a Texas state park
win a national contest for $100,000.
Last year a park in North Dakota won.
North Dakota?!
Now imagine what Texans can do if we vote together.
We're rallying behind Bastrop State Park.
Last September, the largest wildfire in Texas history
engulfed Bastrop State Park.
Flames destroyed a large portion of the Lost Pines,
a unique forest of Loblolly pines
miles away from the nearest piney woods.
It also damaged the world's largest known habitat
of the endangered Houston Toad.
$100,000 would really rev up our restoration efforts.
So log on to livepositively.com
and cast your vote for Bastrop State Park.
You can vote as many times as you like.
Better yet, connect your Foursquare account on the website
and then check in to the park.
Each check-in counts for 100 votes.
You can check in every 15 minutes.
But hurry! The contest ends July 15.
Help Bastrop State Park rise from the ashes.
And show the world what Texans can do.
