There is something for everyone to enjoy in Walsh Trails. It's a great location. It's
close to Austin, but it's not in Austin. You can be in Austin in a matter of minutes. You
can get to the airport very quickly.
Brushy Creek is being extended into four lanes from Palmer to 183, so it makes it really
easy access to get to the 183A from our area. It makes getting around a lot easier.
One thing that I know parents look for in a community is good schools for their children
and Walsh Trails is in the highly acclaimed Round Rock School District so that is a plus
for this community. Due to it being in the Round Rock attentive school district, it is
very sought after. We have wonderful schools right now. We go to Brushy Creek elementary
that at this time is rated exemplary. We are having two new schools put in, a brand-new
elementary school and the brand-new middle school. People are really excited about being
able to go to the new schools with all the new technology that is going to be in those.
One of the things that I personally like about Walsh Trails is the hike and bike trail. Not
only is there one in the community itself but there is also access through a tunnel
under the highway that gets you into Brushy Creek Lake Park.
A lot of our families enjoy the park systems. We have an underground tunnel that takes you
out to the trailhead. There is a Williamson County Regional Parks system. Actually, there
is a 30 mile loop that is going to be completed that will run through the neighborhood and
again have access through the tunnel. There is your soccer fields, your duck pond, they
actually do movies there in the evenings, which is fantastic for the kids. There is
T-ball practice. There is a pool that you can actually join right down the street as
well as Brushy Creek Lake Park which is within walking distance. There is kayaks, funnel
boats, fishing, and all kinds of things to do at Brushy Creek Lake Park.
We are not a cookie-cutter neighborhood. From Brushy Creek Road it is absolutely beautiful
because it kind of sits up on a hill so we are right across the way from Rushing Creek
itself, so it has a lot of natural appeal to it.
I love where my lot is. It has got some trees on it and the thing that I really love about
it is it is right next to the hike and bike trail.
I look forward to living in Walsh Trails with my new neighbors.
