If the colder weather and shorter days are getting you down, here's a healthy suggestion.
The Korea Integrative Medicine Expo is right around the corner, featuring a wide-range
of treatments to refresh your body and mind. Our Paul Yi shows us what to look forward
to. The Korea Integrative Medicine Expo welcomed more than 300-thousand visitors last year
in Jangheung County, easing countless sore muscles and aching bones.
"My hips and knees in particular hurt a lot. The warming heat feels nice starting from
my neck."
This past July, a local biking chapter from Jangheung set out across Korea to spread the
word about this truly unique health expo. The series of exhibitions focuses on complementing
modern healthcare treatments with traditional Korean medicine.
"We're touring each of the country's regions to promote the integrative medicine expo so
that Korea has a successful event."
The medical expo will be celebrating its 4th anniversary this year, under the theme of
"Green Health, People-Centered Health Care." Visitors this year will be able to take part
in various pavilions and activities with specialties such as therapeutic horseback riding, healthy
senior living seminars and healing concerts.
"I encourage everyone in Korea to come to the integrative medicine expo and truly find
great health as well as have a very enjoyable time."
The Korea Integrative Medicine Expo will run for one week starting October 25th.
The expo's medical center and local eco-tourism facilities have been revamped in anticipation
for the upcoming event to give patients and tourists alike a revitalizing experience.
