Hi! Welcome to Rosie's Tea Party Show.
Today, we're going to make chocolate drizzled strawberries.
When you put chocolate and strawberries together...
It'll taste amazing!
We're going to be using fresh strawberries.
And chocolate chips.
Eliam eliam stomp stomp stomp stomp... I mean...
Strawberries are so yummy.
First we have to wash them.
Now... you do it like this...
Uh oh. You do it like this.
Not like... not like this.
Like this.
You have to wash them gently.
If you blast them you'll make them blushy (mushy).
We're going to use two paper towels.
I'm going to pat them dry.
You do it gently so you don't smush them.
You have to dry them 'cause chocolate won't stick to wet strawberries.
We going to use a zip lock bag to melt the chocolate.
This is a chocolate chip.
One tablespoon of chocolate chips.
Now close the zip lock bag.
Make sure it's closed.
Shake all the chocolate chips down to the corner.
And grab it and twist it so it looks like this.
Now we're going to use arm pit power to melt the chocolate.
Stick it under your arm pit like this.
It might take a while to melt so go read a book or watch a show.
Rosie? What are you doing?
I'm reading a book and melting chocolate.
This is what it looks like when it's melted.
Push all the chocolate down to the corner.
You'll need some scissors to cut the tip off the corner.
You'll need a big person to help you with this.
My cousin Guppy is going to help me.
This is my cousin Guppy.
Can you cut this for me?
Of course.
Push all the chocolate up and make sure it's all melted...
Because if there's a chocolate chip that isn't melted
it might plug the hole.
When it's all melted, it feels like pudding...
If it feels like peanut butter, you'll need to melt it more.
All you really need is to cut a very tiny piece off. See?
And if you squeeze it, it'll come out.
Here you go Rosie. Thanks.
Do you want to watch me decorate the strawberries? Sure.
If it doesn't come out smoothly that means there's either a chocolate chip blocking it or that it's not fully melted yet.
There are many different ways to melt chocolate...
One of the ways is to stick the zip lock bag in a cup of warm water.
But arm pit power is the safest way for little kids.
It may take longer but it's safe.
Mmmm... let's have one.
Mmmm.
Mmmm. You did a good job Rosie.
We're going to melt a zip lock bag... in chocolate... ha ha ha
