Here is how you translate the voice of any video, sentence-by-sentence.
On the bottom of the video, there is a timeline with a blue line representing the original
sound.
To do the voice-over, we're only going to use the big button on the right.
The button function will change with the context.
So, let's start. Press the play button to listen to the first sentence.
[Steve Jobs: People say you have to have a lot of passion for what you're doing]
We just pressed pause to create a segment. This can be one sentence long or shorter.
Now, press the big record button to record the voice-over.
[Slovenian: Ljudje pravijo, da moraš imeti veliko strasti za to kar počneš]
The red line represents a voice-over sound that just overlaid the original sound.
Let's do another sentence. Press play and listen.
[Steve Jobs: and it's totally true, and the reason is: because it's so hard]
We pressed pause to create the second segment.
Press the record button again to record the voice-over.
[Slovenian: kar je popolna resnica in razlog je, da je tako tezko]
Now, the last sentence. Press play and listen. [Steve Jobs: that if you don't any rational
person would give up]
Press the record button to record the voice-over.
[Slovenian: da bi vsak racionalni človek že zdavnaj odpovedal]
If you make a mistake, you can always use the undo button to record the last segment
again.
When finished, you can mix the volume levels of source audio and voice-over audio for every
segment, by moving the individual levers up and down.
You can change all of them by pressing the plus or minus sign on the right.
Tapping each segment will play it, and there's also a small play button on the
top, that's used to play the whole video.
When finished, press the cloud button to export the video to camera-roll and upload it to
your Dubjoy private or public feed.
