hello my name is mario, today i will be your drill instructor
let me introduce to you the M16A3
and the M16A4 assault rifles
both assault rifles the M16A3
and the M16A4
are weapons exclusively available to the assault kit
and both are basically variants of the M16
a weapon that has been in service seems long time
some of wars were this weapon has been used include the Vietnam War, the Gulf War
and the War in Afghanistan
just for naming a few
In Battlefield 3
it has a magazine of 30 rounds with 1 in the chamber
Both Assault Rifles support 2 fire modes
and both share the same one
the single shot
the M16A3 supports automatic
and the M16A4 supports burst fire
And both are intended for long range use
Unlocking these weapons requires first, for the M16A3
89,00 assault points and for the M6A14
220,000 assault points
this is only for the Russian faction
Now let's take a look at the bullet spread
The bullet spread of these weapons is the same, no change at all.
Let me show you the graphs when using the attachments that help you controlling
the bullet spread
first no attachments
then bipod
finally foregrip
what if we use it with the other three attachments available
flash suppressor
suppressor
and heavy barrel
finally
let's see the bullet spread for the foregrip
flash suppressor
suppressor
and heavy barrel
now it's time for the most important information about this weapon
the details that involve damage, and as before
both weapons the M16A3 and the M16A4 share the same features
Its round per minute is 800, not too bad
taking the third place in the top 3 fastest Assault Rifles just behind
the AEK-971 and the FAMAS
The suppression effect per bullet is 7%
Its bullet speed is 650 m/s
Taking the first place together with the KH2002
Reloading time is really good as well, taking up to 2.5 seconds, making the fastest
reloading time overall in Assault Rifles
The damage varies and depends on the distance
from 8 meters you will get 25 damage and it decreases to 50 meters when you will get 17 damage
So what does it mean?
Shooting the head? you need 2 bullets or 3 if the enemy is far away
Torso instead? then you need 4 bullets or 6 if the enemy if far away
The arms?
then you need the same number of bullets as before 4
and 6
finally the legs
you require 5 bullets or 7 if the enemy is not close enough
So after all this information I would like to share my favorite loadout
Selecting the bipod instead of the
foregrip is a no brainer because it clear increases accuracy and there's
practically no difference between not selecting an attachment or selecting
the foregrip
about the scope? I prefer red dot sights
so the KOBRA or Reflex are my favorites
To highly increase my accuracy I select the suppressor
