My step-son called and said that him and his wife were sitting in water
over to Taco Bell by Brandeis and Floyd Street. I was on my way over
to get them. So I turned off Central onto Floyd Street
and I got down as far as the other side of the stadium and could barely see
the top of two cars. So I said, "Nah, I'm not goin' that way".
So I pulled in the parking lot to turn around and I pulled in what I thought
was a parking lot, but it wasn't. It was a ditch. And I'm sitting
about waist high, maybe a little bit higher in water and the manager of the
football stadium, Vicky, um, Vicky Nugent, she waded out into the water
and she used the side of my truck to hold onto and

That lady took a chance of drowning to save me. It...
And then when I got inside, they gave me some towels and everything to
dry off; and some dry clothes. And there was another guy named Jimmy
... I can't think of his last name, but it starts with a "B"
who took the shoes off his feet and gave to me. That's something...
That's something you don't see too many people do.
