>> Hi and welcome back
If you keep collecting jars, bottles and containers of all kinds just like me
you can't miss today's tutorial as I will show you an easy way
to decorate some glass bottles and turn them into cute home decors, just like these ones.
As you can see I used a coke bottle,
a worcester sauce bottle
and a balsamic vinegar bottle.
The more different the bottles are in size and shape
the cuter will be the set.
Here is what you'll need for this project:
some glass bottles,
some water,
some acrylic paint at your choice,
a stick to stir them
and a plastic cup.
First of all we need to dilute the paint
so let's pour some in the plastic cup,
let's add some water
and let's mix everything together.
Once we reach the right texture
we can move on.
Let's pour the paint inside the bottle
by rotating it so that the whole inside
is evenly covered,
just like so.
Make sure the whole inside is perfectly covered
by rotating the bottle once more
then pour the exceeding paint back into the plastic cup
and leave the bottle upside down on a flat surface.
On the second bottle I'll use a middle shade
mixing the first color with a lighter one.
Once again I'll add some water to dilute it,
I stir it until I get the right texture
and then I pour it in the bottle just like I did before
rotating the bottle.
Once again after I removed the exceeding paint
I lay it upside down on a flat surface.
On the third bottle I'm using the lighter paint
so I pour it in a clean plastic cup
and I proceed like I did before
mixing the paint with water and
pouring it inside the bottle while we rotate it.
Then I remove the exceeding paint
and I lay it on a flat surface.
Now I leave the bottles to dry upside down making sure I remove the exceeding paint every half an hour.
After around 3/4 hours all the exceeding paint will be gone
and we can finish the drying process
turning the bottles around.
Easy, quick and cute
today's tutorial is over.
