by promoter Hi. Welcome to Speaker Training Online. I’m
Topher Morrison and today we are going to talk about variability. In previous webisodes,
I talked about how promoters are always looking for three main things; attractability, variability,
and salability. Well today it is all about variability. How can you make sure that your
product line, that your presentations are deep enough so that you have more than one
thing? Promoters don’t really want a one-time speaker, they want to find somebody that they
can bring back over and over and over again and also has enough different information
so that they can sell to the same list over and over and over again as well. Now this
doesn’t mean that you want to become a jack of all trades and a master of none. In fact,
by doing that, it is not going to work because then you are going to have to cancel out on
your attractability factor. The idea is to be so well-niched, that you know everything
about one thing. When you know everything about one thing, you can create several things
about that one thing. In other words, you can create several different programs for
certain levels of acknowledgement, certain levels of understanding and comprehension,
so that you can always go back and sell over and over and over again.
So here is the key. If you want to have a greater depth of knowledge, become more variable
and be able to offer more programs, the key is to become the master of one. Find that
one thing that you do and you do it better than anybody else. For example, my speciality,
what I like to do, I like to train professional speakers so if you go to http://www.tophermorrison.com.
