this will be a demonstration of the seed stitch
i have a chain of fifteen
the multiple is two plus one
i start off with a single crochet in the next chain from the hook
then i do a double crochet
the next chain i do a single crochet
the next chain is a double crochet
single crochet
double crochet
every other stitch is a single crochet
then a double crochet
you complete that across your chain
to the end
this is what the first row looks like complete
and it will give me seven sets of the seed stitch combination
of a single crochet and a double crochet
making seven sets all together
i chain one
and turn
in the top of my previous double crochet
i do one single crochet
and then i do a double crochet
in the same stitch
to create a new seed stitch
i skip the next single crochet
and in the top of the next double crochet
i do the seed stitch combination
and i complete that across the rest of the row
skip the next single crochet
do a single crochet
double crochet
for your seed stitch combination
skip the next single crochet
and in the top of the next double crochet
of single crochet and double crochet
skip the next single crochet
in the double crochet
do a seed stitch combination
of single crochet double crochet
skip this one
do a single and a double
skip this one
do a single and a double
there is what the second row will look like
i will do one more row
chain one
in the same double crochet
i do a single crochet and a double crochet
and repeated the same throughout the rest of this row
and each consecutive row that you choose to do
this is what three rows looks like
this is a good example of a project
that you might want to put an edging on
you could do the seed stitch
or you could do a simple single crochet edging
but there are some little indentations
that might make it look kind of rough
of how to do the seed stitch
