The head of New York City's most infamous gang, Boss Duncan receives news of the drive-by
shooting of the former head of Queens. As the Boss is admitting his bad judgement concerning
the backstabber, Macbeth enters with Banquo, Ross, and Angus. Boss Duncan expresses his
gratitude towards his gang members and then, in the most informal initiation, officially
names his own son Malcolm as the next Boss of the gang. To honor Macbeth, Boss Duncan
decides to visit Macbeth's penthouse up in Boston. Macbeth, his thoughts full of dark
ambition, leaves to prepare for the Boss' visit.
Yo, is the drive-by done over in Queens? Have the hit men came back yet?
Boss, they ain't back yet. But hold up, get a load of this -- I spoke to one of 'em who
had seen him die and he say that the backstabbin' rat fessed up all his illnesses against the
gang, begged fo' tha Boss' mercy, then started ballin' his eyes out goin' on about how he
regret what he'd done. Ha, well now the rat's greatest achievement is the face he made when
he go that glock pressed up against his head and go SPLAT! He went and died as if he rehearsed
Well damn, he wasn't no open book. I trusted that snitch completely.
Ay, my tightest homie! Man, I was off feelin' all guilty for not havin' thanked yo self.
You was out there pullin' strings fo' me like quicksilver that I don't think slammin' down
any amount of dead presidents gonna work as a proper reward. If you had done any less
than what you did, /maybe/ my Benjamin's would've been sufficient enough fo' yo work. Basically,
what I'm tryna say is that I owe you more than all the green in the world.
Ay yo, pullin' strings for the Boss is it's own reward. Yo only job is to accept what
we owe. Our loyalty to you an' yo gang is like the loyalty of a dog to their master.
By protectin' and coverin' up for you, hell, we only doin' as we should be doin' in the
first place.
The likes of you welcome here anytime, my main man. By makin' you the new head of Queens,
you got one hell of a good life ahead of you, and I'll be the one to make sure yo life gets
its fullest. And Banquo, don't think I forgot about you, brotha -- you done and deserve
the same as Macbeth. Keep yo ties close to me and I'll give you the benefit of my rank
and power.
A'ight. If I do anythin' ballin', I'll let my homies know that it was 'cause of you.
Shoot man, I'm gonna start leaking tears of some mad happiness. My sons, relatives, gangsters
and homies, I wanna let you see when I hand the gang over to my oldest son, Malcolm. Today
he gon' be named the new Boss of New York City. Ay, but Malcolm ain't the only one receivin'
my honor -- those who deserve recognition be sure to get it. Anyways, let's head to
yo crib in Boston, where I'll owe you even more fo' yo hospitality.
Wouldn't have no grin on my face unless I was workin' for you. I'll go ahead and let
duh bae know you comin'. Anyways, dueces.
My main man of Boston!
Malcolm's the new Boss of New York City, huh? If I wanna be Boss, I'm gonna hafta shoot
'em or give the hell up, 'cause that boy in my way. Oh lawd, don't let no one know 'bout
my nasty plot. For now, I'll turn a blind eye to my own actions, but I ain't gonna see
what I like in the end.
You was right, Banquo. Macbeth be hella brave as you say he is, and I'm pleased 'bout all
this praise 'bout him. Let's follow him, since he's gone and gettin' ready to welcome us.
He duh man.
