What's up guy and girl players of World of Warcraft. This is Ryutarou AkA Tarou bringing
you this week's WoW Report Episode 32! For more FREE WoW guides, check out my website
at tarouwowguides.com
In this Tarou Weekly WoW Report, I'll cover upcoming class changes, Auction House chaos,
Profession news, as well as a Q&A session so let's get started.
In Cataclysm news, we got a lot of class balancing coming soon that should help even things out
as well as make certain classes and specs, not suck so much. Right now in PvE any hunter
besides Survival is having a tough time doing decent DPS. Ret Paladins, Shadow Priests,
Fire Mages, and Frost Mages may have some well needed buffs coming for PvE. Healing
is looking ok and I absolutely agree with this. Healing right now feels just like classic
although a tad easier. No more endless spamming without any negative side effects. I finally
feel challenged and love it. Tanks also look ok. PvP is still being looked at and Priests
are the weakest link when it comes to healing. Stats are also getting a rework to be more
desirable to more classes and specs. This should help with better gear optimization
as well as enchants and gems. There are a ton more changes as well and I suggest everyone
read Blizzard's post on it. I'll link it on my blog.
Moving on to Cata PvP news, Rated Battlegrounds will now award Honor after a player reaches
their Conquest cap for the week. Blizzard hopes this will keep players playing through
out the week while most the post replying to this ask for Rated PuG Battlegrounds. Let
me know what you think in the comments.
Ok now on to Auction House news. Things have been pretty quiet on the Auction House this
past week but get ready for some crazy movement over the next few weeks. Tons of guilds have
put raids and heroics on hold because of the holidays but that's all about to change starting
this week going into next. Why does that matter? Well, imagine the last week pretty much just
had bored people farming stuff and putting it on the AH. Now you're going to have pumped
people raiding and doing heroics like crazy. This means that supply is going to dwindle
and demand is going to skyrocket. Prices should be increasing from here on out until they
normalize in a few weeks.
Moving on to this week's profession tip. This goes out to all the Jewelcrafters out there,
stop listing gems at vendor prices. Comeon JCs. You aren't doing yourself any favors
and are costing yourself gold and time. So, here's what I want you to do. Go to the Auction
House and cancel any uncommon cut gem you have listed for around 9 gold, head to any
vendor, and vendor it for 9 gold.
Alright now for Blizzard news. Looks like I missed something a few weeks ago and I appologize.
Free transfers are available for select realms so anyone on these realms looking for a change.
A free change at that. Check out the destinations servers and see if they are a good fit for
you or even your entire guild.
Finally, I'd like to end this Tarou Weekly WoW Report answering a few questions you guys
and girls have asked me over the last week.
Q1. How do you run heroics with all these crappy players?
A1. Well, first I would stop the bashing and name calling. Most of us have been playing
for 2,3,4,5 years and may know what we're doing but a million or more other players
have just leveled their first character and have no idea. The bullying, bashing, and douchebagness
of some players is unbelievable and if you want to make this game more fun, you're going
to have to use your eliteness for more than just thinking your better than everyone. When
I get into a group with players who don't know what they're doing, I teach them what
they should be doing in a nice tone, with contructive feedback. You're a CC class so
basically every pull you should be sheeping or sap'ing or seducing something even if you
weren't assigned a mark. Just get the caster who is chillin by herself nuking your tank
or healer. You're a tank, keep the mobs off the healer and your DPS. Also, use your own
abilities to hold threat and reduce damage. Everyone has a role to fill and so instead
of bashing the player, help them get better. Tell them what they're doing wrong in a constructive
way. If every veteran did this, we'd all have a lot more fun in Heroic PuGs.
Q2. What is the best gold making profession?
A2. This question pops up again, again, and again. Every profession has its niche and
to be quite honest, it depends a lot on your schedule and how much time you want to sink
into gold making. For instance, someone with only an hour to spend may do best with a crafting
profession like Jewelcrafting. Whereas someone with more time would do better with a gathering
profession like Mining. For the ultimate player though, combining Herbalism and Mining on
one character will give you the most possible gold from professions in one day of playing.
Most crafting professions have daily maxes while gathering professions typically don't
unless you're on some rediculiously low pop server. Also, try to first find out which
profession you think you'd enjoy and work from that. Having fun should be number one.
Q3. How do I choose a server?
A3. This is a very good question and really deserves its own video. The short answer would
be to make a character on several servers and get a feel for it by watching the trade
channel. I think most want more info than that so if you want a video like that, post
it in the comments or thumbs up someone's post.
Lastly, for this week's 'what if', what if Mages didn't exist in game? Find out the answer
in my mini-report later this week and be sure to put your 'what if' questions in the comments
or pm me.

Personally, I'm pretty happy that my new mic sounds a thousand times better than my old.
Yep, I finally got a new mic so hopefully less kittens will be killed and less ears
will be pierced. Give a thumbs up if you agree.
