Hi Class! I'm Professor Crakes and I'd like to welcome you to Personal Growth 120 - College Success and Lifelong Learning.
I have developed this mini-orientation to acquaint you with this online class.
So perhaps we can get started.
This is the course menu
that provides you with information about the class and different links that we will be using in the course.
Let's start out with the course homepage...
We can click on the PERG 120 syllabus
where you can find specific information
and requirements
about the class.
There are basically two learning modules available to students each week
and there are three items due in each module.
that includes quizzes, discussions, and writing assignments.
As far as submissions are concerned, what I would like to strongly suggest that students do is to use the concept of the four E's to generate specific and sufficient support.
An example include number one - providing an example of your responses.
Giving an experience to illustrate that.
Explaining your responses further, and giving evidence to support that.
Everything is due at the end of each week on Sunday at 5 PM sharp without exception.
These include quizzes, discussions, and writing assignments. However, since the last day of class falls on Saturday October 12 which is a Saturday,
all items are for the last day of class
are due on Saturday, October 12
at five PM sharp.
So please make a note of that.
Let's click on learning modules.
And under module 1, you will see all items that will be covered for that module.
and you can see there's DB #1, discussions.
WA 1, which is the writing assignment 1,
and quiz one.
Now, let's view learning module number two.
And you will see the same thing, DB2, WA2, and quiz 2.
I hope you found that helpful.
And I'd like to thank you for viewing this mini orientation.
And I look forward to seeing you online.
Thank you!
And enjoy the rest of your day.
