my mom did ceramics when I was younger
so I think I like you know building with my hands was kinda like my initial
in for you know creative practice
It wasn't really until I started working with Judith
I had really you know fallen in love with painting I never really occurred to
me that you could like
be an artist or art maker on
you know as a source income or source of living in it
was really working with them they're kinda really adjusted that whole frame
of mind to me is that being a possibility
on in I feel like you know I'm still like in development to that sorta
that whole like mentality on
you know being in grad school but I think like they really like open that
door for me
it was like I had a dry in class with Frank and then right after it said
in class with Judith and the whole dynamic content here
as a really like a nice community environment for learning
and I think like even like everywhere that I've gone
since I don't really feel like had that same sort of close-knit
thing that was happening here you know. I worked with some with some really great
people after leaving here as well
that's sort of like lasting sense of community and i think is really there
and in the other institutions that have been a part of
