Hi and welcome to another video!
The "Iron Man 3" release is just around the corner so I wanted to take this chance to show you my little hall of armors!
As you can see, they're comic style armors.
And they're figures produced by Hasbro for the "Iron Man 2" toy line.
They're about 4 inches tall, they're 3.75" scaled.
And they're very nice, very well articulated and even the accessories are kinda interesting!
But let's take a closer look at the armors, one by one!
Let's get started with the First Appearance obviously! Very nice!
Very nice paintjob! Check it out!
He has this rusty and metallic wash!
Really really nice!
Then we have the Classic Armor, with this metallic paint!
Very neat as well!
Then we have the Neo Classic Armor, the one from the 90's!
A look I'm very attached to because it's the one from the comics I've been reading and from the animated series which I've been watching very assiduously.
(It's not the actual animated series armor, but it's the one that reminds it the most, specially the helmet.)
Very nice style!
Then we have the Silver Centurion, my favourite! Wonderful! Red and silver!
With these pointy shoulder pads and the triangular arc reactor. Very very nice! I love the Silver Centurion!
The Silver Centurion will be in "Iron Man 3", as you can see from the trailer and thanks to that facebook app called "Unlock the armors". Check that app to see the Silver Centurion in all his glory! Really fantastic!
Then we have the Advanced Armor.
Featuring a very intricate sculpt, as you can see.
With these flaps on the back.
Very nice in flight pose!
Really nice!
Then we have War Machine!
With his two shoulder cannons. Very nice the face! With these red details. Very nice painting on War Machine too!
Really neat! The shoulder cannons are articulated.
And finally we have the Hulkbuster Iron Man! Massive! Very massive!
Really nice...with this dark red and gold details.
Very nice the Hulkbuster too!
Each figure comes with this base...
...where you can see these slots in which you can put some cards the figure comes with.
There are three cards. One is made out of paper, the other two are transparent plastic and, as you can see, if you overlap them, you have the armor!
And the nice thing is that you can mix the cards and create your own armor! Let's try!
I'll pick the Silver Centurion bust, head and arms of the Neo Classic Armor and I'll pick the Hulkbuster legs to create a funny look.
Really cool!
This is a very nice addition in my opinion, a nice touch by Hasbro!
As other accessories, we have this sort of special effects, energy beams. This kind of *** 3.75" scaled. :)
They're shooting effects, not sure how to describe them. They're made out of translucent plastic. Pretty much all the figures come with one of these.
The most interesting are the ones that come with War Machine, these attachments for the shoulder cannons.
Let's put them on!
They give the figure a very nice look!
In addition, the Classic Armor comes with this additional base to simulate Iron Man taking off with his repulsors, under his feet.
As for the articulation, they're very well articulated!
Head is on a ball joint. Arms can fully rotate and move in and out. The movement might be limited by the shoulder pads, but generally the range of motion is good.
Arms can fully rotate and bend at one point at the elbows. Articulation at the wrists where the hands can fully rotate.
Torso articulation, a bit loose in this case.
Legs can move forward and back, in and out. A bit stiff.
Rotation at the upper part of the legs, double jointed knees (very nice!) and articulation at the ankles where the feet can fully rotate and move up and down slightly. Not side to side.
So, not only very nice looking figures, I mean, they're not perfect, there are some flaws on the paintjob, but they're nice and also very well articulated!
And, as for the accessories, I really like the cards feature. While these other accessories are generally unused, I don't use to display my figures with these accessories.
But they can be used to recreate some action scenes and maybe take some shots with these "special effects".
I can't recommend these figures ENOUGH! Also because they have a very good value for the money you pay!
I bought them when they came out and I paid from 6 to 8 EURO each shipped! A very good price for figures so small, but with a lot to offer!
I don't think they're particularly rare so you should be able to find them for a good price even today, years later their release!
That being said, I recommend you to go see "Iron Man 3" and I'll see you on the next video! BYE!
