What's going on guys? Nadeska Alexis here for Complex News.
Kobe Bryant played the final game of his NBA career on Wednesday night and casually put
up 60 points before he walked off the court, but over in Oakland, Steph Curry and the Warriors
were busy breaking the Chicago Bull's record for most season wins.
Golden State beat the Memphis Grizzlies 125-104, officially clinching their 73rd win of the
season and setting a new NBA record. The 95-96 Bulls previously had the most season wins
with 72-10, but Golden State now has the best record in NBA history with a 73-9 season.
The debates about where this puts the Warriors in the grand scheme of things will rage on
for months, but players from the legendary Bulls season were gracious enough to congratulate
Golden State after their big win -- even Michael Jordan.
Jordan issued a statement, writing, “I want to congratulate the Warriors on their amazing
season. The game of basketball is always evolving and records are made to be broken. The Warriors
have been a lot of fun to watch and I look forward to seeing what they do in the playoffs.”

Scottie Pippen also showed love, tweeting, "Knowing what it takes to win 72, I've got
to tip my hat to the Warriors for getting to 73. Good Luck to Steve Kerr and company
in the playoffs!"
And LeBron actually took time to record a video saying congrats.
Now we can't wait to see Steph and the Warriors kill it in playoffs.
