Sausage Tree Camp is situated in the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia.
In front of the Sausage Tree Camp lies the old sausage tree
after which the camp was named.
Sausage Tree Camp consists of eight Bedouin-style tents,
one of them is a large family house known as Kigelia House
which has two separate rooms, a lounge area and an en-suite bathroom
as well as an private plunge pool.
Enjoy your lunch in the water
and practice catch-and-release fly-fishing and tiger-fishing deep within the Lower Zambezi National Park.
Sausage Tree Camp has five simpler tents, called Signature Tents
which are equipped with comfortable double beds,
a lounge area and an open-air en-suite bathroom.
Sausage Tree Camp offers a range of activities as for example 4WD safaris and walking safari
during which you might come across for example lion,
varied antelope,
leopard,
and elephant.
Two of eight Bedouin-style tents are Honeymoon Suites
that are equipped with a lounge area, a double bed and an en-suite bathroom
which has an inside and outside shower.
The wildlife around Sausage Tree Camp is spectacular.
More possible activities are for example canoe trips
guided by professional canoe guides down the Chifungulu channel.
Sausage Tree Camp’s main area consists of a wooden deck and a pool.
