Hello, welcome to my studio. My name is Lars Erik Robinson. My company is Lars Arts, and
all around art-tainment is my slogan. Today I thought I'd talk about how I'm influenced
by other artists and what I use to get influenced by them. NC Wyeth I'm really influenced by,
he has a nice - his colors are really amazing. And you basically look in here and you can
get really inspired how they use the lighting, and how they use the color with the lighting.
NC Wyeth is very famous for shadows and different techniques. That's one way. Now one of my
- Sebastian Kruger - he's from Europe, he's an amazing artist as far as when it comes
to caricature artists. And he actually wrote to Lars, from Sweden. He has amazing exaggeration
on his character stuff. Michael, look at that guy, Al Pacino, look at that for example,
that's amazing, that's good inspiration work right there, and it shows the detail and it's
great. You can also go as far back as looking at other illustrators. Illustrator magazines,
the Society of Illustrators is a great reference and it shows all different illustrations and
different techniques that they use. This is one of my greatest inspirations. Shows all
different kind of techniques, pastels for example. And then just looking at other artist's
sketchbooks that they have out there. They show all these different sketches and different
ideas. Fantasy art magazines, and then a main one. Art History, you can learn a lot from
just different artists and artists of Art History... so thank you guys for joining me
and that's how I learn from different artists.
