Hi. This is Leah Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to learn how to
make a healthy, vegetarian Lebanese feast. So now we'll go ahead and get the hummus out.
I've gone ahead and removed the blades so I don't cut myself. Just twist it off and
we'll take a nice spatula and scoop it out. You can tell the consistency is a little bit
thicker than you what you have in the store and that's because we haven't put any olive
oil in it yet. Now the traditional way to make hummus is not to use olive oil in the
food processor, but to pour it over top. Okay. And make sure you scoop around that middle
part there. A lot of food will get stuck on there and we don't want to miss out on any
of that. Okay, that looks good. Now we'll just take it an spread it out so it looks
pretty. And we'll take the back of a spoon and put a little hole in there, a small indentation,
and we'll fill that with the olive oil. And we'll take a little bit of olive oil, cover
the spout with your finger, so just a little bit comes out, and we'll drizzle it over top.
This really makes for a prettier presentation than if we had mixed it all in. And then we'll
surround it with the slices of red pepper we cut.
