Hi there, if you'd like to set a channel trailer on the front of your YouTube channel, then
stay tuned, watch this very short video, and I'll show you exactly how.
Hi there, David Walsh here, from DavidWalshOnLine.com, and in this video I'm going to show you how
to set your channel trailer. Now, having a channel trailer gives you the
ability to advertise your channel to people who aren't subscribers to your channel, so
they get to see what you do, what your videos are about, so they can make a good decision
to subscribe. So, all you need is a video of telling people
about you and your channel and what they can expect, and then, a few clicks to set that
up on your channel. So, let's head on over to the computer and
we're going to set that up right now. From the previous video, How To Remove Your
Channel History, I showed you how to set up your channel, to remove your history and in
doing so you will set up this area here for your channel trailer.
Now, your channel will look like this, with a blue button over a video or it will look
like this, if you've played around with the trailer channel button.
Either way, you click on channel trailer, here, and then select your channel trailer
video. If you haven't got a channel video up there,
what you need to have on there is the types of video and, also, how often you upload,
so that people know when to come back to your channel and what to expect.
So, when you've created your video, upload it to your channel and then select your video
and then click on save. And there you'll have your video right there.
And make sure, as well, in the description that you have information about you, your
channel, a subscribe link and, also, the days you upload your video to your channel, so
they know when to come back and view your videos.
And of course, if you want to remove it, click on the little pencil icon, there, or if you
want to change it, you can click on change trailer and select another one or remove it
completely. Now, your channel trailer will auto play for
those people who are not subscribed to your channel, so as soon as they do subscribe,
they will actually see the subscriber view, which you can see right here, by clicking
on this area here, and clicking on 'Subscriber View'.
So, this is what they will see once they become a subscriber, and this is what they will see
when they are not a subscriber. So, there you go, that is how you quickly
and easily set up a channel trailer on your YouTube channel.
And if you're using YouTube for business, this is, definitely, something you should
do, so that people know what your channel is about and what to expect.
It, also, serves as an advertisement, so people can see what your channel is about and, also,
what your company is about, so that they can subscribe and get more content from you, through
YouTube. And of course, if they like your YouTube videos,
then you can get them over to your website and, eventually, for them to eventually become
customers. Now, if you're serious about using YouTube
for business, then download my free 'Video Traffic Report'. Inside you'll find the strategies
I use, for both myself and clients, to get great titles for videos people will want to
see and clock up thousands of views, that, eventually, get them from my YouTube channel
to my website. So, make sure to click on that link right
there or in the description below and download your copy right now. Just give me your email
address, so I know where to send it. My name is David Walsh and I appreciate you
watching this video all the way to the end and I look forward to you downloading your
free 'Video Traffic Report' and putting to use in your business.
