[Intro Music Playing]
Welcome to Gray Hair Talking.
I am so glad you stopped by for a few minutes...
cause I want to show you my beautiful new kitchen.
I had the pleasure a few weeks ago of creating my Dream Kitchen,
and I am so grateful for it.
Welcome to Gray Hair Talking as we look at how, "Gratitude Changes Us."
Now I am learning as my hair is turning,
that who we are inside...the content of our heart...
is reflected by our sense of gratitude...or perhaps...the absence of gratitude.
We can detect a grateful person, or an ungrateful person...
by their expressions and their expectations.
You see an ungrateful person is never pleased with anything...
and no matter how much you do for them...it is never enough.
On the other hand...a grateful person complains very little...
and is thankful for even the simplest of things.
So our prayer everyday should be, "Dear Lord,"
"help me to be grateful."
Now a sense of gratitude is a learned trait...
and you may have learned this as a child...
but if you did not learn this sense of gratitude as a child,
it is never to late to learn.
Paul says in Colossions 3...
that we are to [quote] "Cultivate...Thankfullness,"
so we can learn to be grateful no matter our age.
Now gratitude is something that we cannot hide...
if we have a grateful heart...others will know it.
There're two really curious things...about gratitude, number one...
gratitude will be seen and heard...and number two...
gratitude changes us...and it changes others for the better.
Think how wonderful you feel when someone takes the time...
just to say thank you...
and find someone and thank them...today!
Think how wonderful you feel when someone just does...
something nice for you...even though it is a little thing...
and do something nice...for someone today.
The smallest word of gratitude...and the smallest act of kindness...
changes us...
and that reflection of the Spirit living in us...
will change others.
This is Rachel Solomon saying...[music playing]
thank you...for watching this video,
and I am sending you blessings from Gray Hair Talking.
