On behalf of Expert Village my name is Rodney Fielitz I'm a certified flight instructor
in Cottonwood, AZ and I'm here to give you the basics of what it takes to become a pilot.
The next phase of this manual is it tells you how to taxi in an airplane, it does not
drive like a car even though it has a steering wheel we do not call it a steering wheel,
it's called a yolk. All that steering on this airplane and every airplane is done by the
rudders, this diagram shows you how to taxi and we talked a little bit about wind. Well
wind during taxi it plays a big part in it because you have these big wings hanging out
to the side and as the wind picks up and wants to play games with you, so as we teach we
teach you how to maneuver the airplane, how to control the airplane, and how to taxi into
strong winds, and how to taxi with tail winds, quartering tail winds and all this. Within
our manual it teaches you in every airplane basically the diagram are the same for taxing.
